At Sallye’s, we believe the story of our own Sonic Icons are told through their tactile, analog discography.
While we grade our analog media conservatively and provide detailed photos and descriptions, we do not adhere to “official” or “professional” grading standards because grading is, by nature, a subjective art. You won’t always find pristine or silent media here, as these are honest, era-specific, analog artifacts from a time before digital ‘perfection’.
We prioritize playability and collection-readiness over museum-grade perfection.
Whether you’re spinning our wax or reels, or enjoying the nostalgic, mechanical clunk of our 8-track tapes changing programs, you may also occasionally hear the warmth of a surface crackle or see a bit of shelf-wear. If it’s in our Sonic Vault, it’s because it passed our ears first — verified soul food, 100% functional, and ready for your daily rotation!
